''Tydlose Liefde''-kompetisie: Cape Town, 2005 ad infinitum

J Walker - 2011-09-08

Among the daisies of spring we discovered a patch of green under tall trees.

In the heat of summer we raced and dived into the waves to cool the rush of desire.

In autumn bronzed leaves floated down, surrounded us as we hugged and kissed.

Rain was a two-note melody or a symphony, and the rhythm of love our warmth in winter.

Time after time we return to our patch of green in spring.

We wade barefoot along the edge of the summer surf.

We walk holding hands among autumn’s flurry of broken browns.

We wait for the early rain to feel again and again the abundance of love.
