The self-publishing shift: moving your manuscript from drawer to bookshelf – it really is this easy.
Self-publishing is more than just a buzzword or a vain attempt to see your work in print. With more than a million titles published worldwide annually it is increasingly difficult to secure a publisher. But in the last two years the number of non-traditionally published titles has nearly exceeded the number of traditionally published titles. With more and more online features and opportunities there really has not been a better time to dust of that manuscript in your drawer and move it online.
Crink is offering two self-publishing workshops at the 2010 Cape Town Book Fair. We will give a presentation on the Crink self-publishing platform, discuss some recent success stories and scenarios and even help you to move online right then at our stand B11. So bring along your manuscript on a flash driver.
Confirmation of attendance is vital, as we have limited space of 60 people per date. The workshop is free, but you will need to pay the R60 entrance fee for the Fair.
